Dyan was born April 16, 1996.  This was the day that the Chicago Bulls won their 70th basketball game, setting an NBA record.  Her favorite sports teams were Notre Dame and the Dallas Cowboys.  She liked to play with her Littlest Petz, she had over 200 of them.  Her favorite TV shows were those on Animal Planet.

Dyan was diagnosed March 9, 2005 with these horrible diseases and battled them for long two years.  They affected every bone in her body, especially her spine, leaving it "S" shaped.  It also affected many organs, her heart, lungs and abdomen.  Dyan tried different treatments over the last two years and had many chest tubes to drain the fluid.  As of today there is no known treatment to cure what she had.

Dyan's hope and dream was that someday there would be a cure for this.  She helped in many ways to give her doctors knowledge about these diseases and continues to help as she donated her body to research when she passed.  The need for funding is so important for research.  We are asking, in Dyan's name, for whatever you can afford to raise funds for research.  Dyan made a good friend that has the same things she had and she didn’t want her friend to go through what she did.
