Dyan was born April 16, 1996.  This was the day that the Chicago Bulls won their 70th basketball game, setting an NBA record.  Her favorite sports teams are Notre Dame and the Dallas Cowboys.  She likes to play with her Littlest Petz, she has over 200 of them now.  Her favorite TV shows are on Animal Planet. 

Dyan was diagnosed March 9, 2005 with these horrible diseases.  It has been a long two years for her.  It has affected every bone in her body especially her spine that is now "S" shaped.  She has to walk with a walker when she is up.  It has also affected many organs, her heart, lungs and abdomen.  Dyan has tried different treatments over the last two years and has had many chest tubes to drain the fluid.  There is no known treatment to cure what she has. 

Dyan's hope and dream is that someday there will be a cure for this.  She has helped in many ways to give her doctors knowledge about these diseases and will also do more after she passes.  The need for funding is so important for research.  We are asking, in Dyan's name, for whatever you can afford to raise funds for research.  Dyan has met a good friend that has the same things and she doesn't want her friend to go through what she has.
